World Rugby's official team of the year announced as just one Wales star included
Wyn Jones has been named in the authority World Rugby men's group of the year.
The free head prop is the main Welshman to make the side having assumed a key part in Wales' effective 2021 Six Nations crusade.
Jones began each game during the European show-stopper this year and was one of the unrecognized yet truly great individuals, furnishing a strong scrum stage alongside Ken Owens and Tomas Francis.
No first line forward played more game time in the Six Nations than Jones, who remained on the field for 240 out of a potential 400 minutes, enduring practically the entire games against Scotland and France.
Just Taulupe Faletau conveyed more than Jones with regards to Welshmen in the competition, and just Tom Curry and Iain Henderson were more powerful at guarded breakdowns.
