Previous Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin additionally backed Waugh's considerations.
"The pitches are standard, I could do without pitches where speedy bowlers can't bowl short stuff, and this has been the subject of the entire series," Waugh said during a show on Fox Sports.
The 56-year old needs to see speed and skip in the wickets that favor the quick bowlers and an equivalent fight between the bat and the bowl.

Haddin imparted his insight and called it 'ugly.' He further added that creating wickets like these are not great for a bowler like Shaheen Afridi.
