Offspinner Jayant Yadav and pacer Navdeep Saini have been added to the Indian ODI crew for the impending 50-over games against South Africa, the BCCI reported on Wednesday (January 12).


Yadav is a substitution for Washington Sundar who, as prior revealed by Cricbuzz, tried positive for COVID-19 during a camp in Bengaluru and thus stands governed out of the series now. Saini has been incorporated as a back-up for Mohammed Siraj who experienced a hamstring injury during the second Test against South Africa and was therefore administered out of the third game.


The 31-year-old Yadav, who has played just a single ODI for India - back in 2016 - as of late played in the second Test against New Zealand in December, packing a four-wicket pull in the subsequent innings. Yadav is important for the Indian Test crew in South Africa yet didn't get a game.
