Gloucester Rugby centre makes MLR move
Gloucester Rugby Academy focus Jack Reeves has marked a two-year advance arrangement to join USA Major League Rugby side the New England Free Jacks.
Reeves, 21, will join the US club for the 2022 and 2023 MLR seasons yet Gloucester Rugby hold the option to review the capable local player for the remainder of the year outside of the opposition across the Atlantic.
The MLR season begins in March and goes through to August implying that Reeves will get a year season which will improve his turn of events.
Reeves, who remains at 5ft 11in and 13 and half stone is Canadian-qualified as his dad was the late Ross Reeves, who played in the Canadian Football League, what might be compared to the NFL, and furthermore contended at World Cup level for Canada in the bobsleigh.
Reeves initially began playing rugby at Dursley RFC at five years old. As he became more established the youthful weapon leaving his imprint playing for England U20s before re-marking with Gloucester Rugby the previous summer.
