Basketball: Hachimura to miss start of camp for personal reasons
NEW YORK-Washington Wizards forward Rui Hachimura will miss the beginning of instructional course because of individual reasons, the NBA group said Saturday.
The Wizards didn't determine the explanations behind his nonattendance, yet said Hachimura "has been pardoned and the group will give further updates when fitting."
Playing under new lead trainer Wes Unseld Jr., Washington will begin preseason camp on Tuesday and wrap up on Oct. 5.
Hachimura found the middle value of 13.8 focuses in 57 games for the Wizards last season and is relied upon to take on a greater job in his third NBA season subsequent to driving the Japanese public group at the Tokyo Olympics.
The Wizards are booked to open the 2021-22 NBA season out and about against Hachimura's Japan colleague Yuta Watanabe and the Toronto Raptors on Oct. 20.
